A group picture of Provident Trust Company's Officers and Staff as of September 30, 2007, is recreated below. The photograph was taken in the Board Room of our Company where committees, directors, and shareholders hold their meetings. The wall hanging is an 1834 antique coverlet. The fabric in this piece memorializes George Washington on horseback with a phrase beside his figure: "United We Stand; Divided We Fall." The border of this white and blue American woven coverlet bears the Seal of the United States and the promise "Under This Seal, We Prosper." These images and sayings express the values we cherish because they sustain the structure of society, the strength for the nation’s economy, and our rights to private property.

A portion of the coverlet referenced above is reproduced here.

Comments and Notes
The foregoing narratives have been prepared to report how Provident Trust Company actually works through well-trained and motivated people, most of whom have served our organizations for many years. The relationships that have been created between these individuals, both externally to our customers and internally toward one another, are priceless treasures that cannot be easily replaced. These presentations were described to develop your appreciation for the strengths of our Company. The management hopes you will be attracted to PTC for the first time or continue to be bonded to these individuals.
Bridges Investment Counsel, Inc. staffs the operations of all the Firm's business activities in a manner that utilizes the strengths of each employee. Training on main tasks and cross training on secondary responsibilities are undertaken to create depth for most job assignments and to enable flexibility to move persons toward functional areas where seasonal peaks take place. Provident Trust Company may have fewer than ten persons who work full time on operations and customer service, yet there is a full complement of skilled employees who work in the trust company areas whenever they are called upon. Further, there is a policy to retain the experience and knowledge of retired individuals who lend helping hands and heads when requested to do so. An asterisk appears in front of the names of the staff members who are classified as less than full-time employees, some of whom are purposefully independent consultants to enable Provident Trust Company to avoid possible conflict of interest situations in certain transactions and for the voting of proxies.
The titles and responsibilities described above may not be the same within the BIA, BIC, BIF, BIM, and BIS contexts. Supplementary descriptions are available at the BIF and BIM websites or, more completely, from registration and proxy statements filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.
